As a Real Estate Agent and Entrepreneur, I am so happy to be a part of Claudia House, as it is giving me the opportunity to give back to the city and community that has given my family so much! As an eagle scout I regularly participate in volunteering in my community tour various community projects and that seed of service has stuck! In 2010 my wife and I lived in Guatemala where we served as a teacher’s aides for two months. Once my wife and I returned to the United states my wife and I worked to raise funds to support the school that we had fallen in love with! I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Degree in English and upon graduation my wife and I lived in Alaska, Seattle, Eugene, Central America and now we have been settled in Portland where we have been for 6 years and in 2018 we had our little Girl “Wren.” I spend my spare time, hiking, dinners with my family and friends, reading and mushroom hunting when they are out!

I’m a Manager for The Home Depot. I’ve been with the company for 8 years now, starting as a seasonal lot associate. Although I don’t have a college degree I’ve had many mentors that have helped me get to where I am in my career with their guidance, support and training. My purpose for the Claudia House is to ensure students receive an abundance of support and guidance that will help them achieve their goals in life even through difficult times. I will always be a resource and listening ear to any of those that need help navigating hard situations.
